Toddler
1 - 2 Years. Toddlers are working on developing a greater sense of independence, social-emotional skills, and language acquisition. The focus is on creating opportunities for pretend play, sensory play, and manipulative activities to foster curiosity and creativity.
Junior Kinder
2 - 3 Years. Pre-Kindy children are increasingly focused on developing social skills, cooperative play, and early problem-solving abilities. Play becomes more structured, and children are encouraged to engage in group activities while also honing their creativity and early literacy and numeracy skills.
Kindergarten
3 - 5 Years. At this stage, children are preparing for school. The focus is on refining social skills, fostering independence, and introducing more complex problem-solving and literacy and numeracy activities. Educators work with children to develop self-regulation, cooperation, and critical thinking.
1. Observe – We watch and listen to see what excites your child. For example, your child talks about dinosaurs and loves dinosaur play.
2. Assess – We reflect on what they’re learning, like new words, sharing skills, and curiosity about the world.
3. Plan – We design fun activities around their interests – dinosaur books, fossil crafts, counting dinosaurs, and small-world play.
4. Implement – We set up these experiences and support your child as they explore, learn, and play with friends.
5. Evaluate – We reflect on what worked, celebrate progress, and plan new ways to build on their interests.
